  1. I really like this post because I can definitely relate. When I first started playing Minecraft, I would spend countless hours playing and creating worlds. I remember I always had a favorite one with cool stuff in it. I really like how you associate your old MacBook pro and overlooking the fact that it was so old because you were able to start your Minecraft career on it.

  2. As a fellow Minecraft connoisseur, I found your blog post very relatable to my first experiences of Minecraft. However, I may have to disagree with you about "losing the new car smell". In my opinion, minecraft still continues to be a game that completely gratifies me as much as when I first played it.

  3. I really like your analogy of a new-car. I agree that it is usually so much fun to learn something from the start. When I wrote about this prompt, I also chose a video game, because I also thought it is so much more fun to learn about it, and redo the entire learning process.

  4. A lot of people had the joy of playing minecraft in it's early days where its about purely being creative. The game now feels really modern and I miss the more traditional feel of minecraft where it was just really simple. I think we all had that experience of having that bliss of a new game that you wish would never end.

  5. I love the analogy with the new car smell. It's great to see that so many people share the same experience. My first playthrough of minecraft was on a laptop whose screen didn't work, so I connected it to a external screen my dad brought from work, and whose charger had to be soldered every other week. For me minecraft was a way to make up for friends I didn't have in school. It gave me a sense of community and connection like almost no other game could.
